Indie icon Pete Doherty is set to take on a special solo show as part of Ibiza Rocks next month.
It's been a year of mixed fortune for Pete Doherty . The singer has been dogged with catastrophe, after being linked to the death of a prominent young film maker.
Yet this has also been accompanied by the reformation of The Libertines. Still hugely loved by fans, the conglomeration are due to get back together in order to play a much vaunted headline set at Reading and Leeds.
Meanwhile, Pete Doherty continues his solo job. Babyshambles are working on their third album, which should be released later this year.
In addition to this, Pete Doherty is still playing unaccompanied shows across the country and beyond. Following on from his 'Grace / Wastelands' album last year, the singer has donned his acoustic guitar for some significant performances.
Now Pete Doherty is set to play a solo show on June 1st as part of Ibiza Rocks. A new venue on the island, the show takes place one week before the recognized Ibiza Rocks line up begins for summer.
