Gabriel Richard placed first with 199 points, followed by Shrine (92) and Madison Heights Bishop Foley (61).
In April, Gabriel Richard departed to Shrine by five points during a dual meet. At the time, 14 of Gabriel Richard's athletes were absent because they were also playing on the persuasion's soccer team, Brock said.
"But that was no excuse," he said. "The runners who were there should've been ready to run."
On Wednesday, everyone was there and ready. Runners like freshman Kelly Bindon, who placed first in the 300-meter hurdles (52.41), are who Brock claims are the "expected of Gabriel Richard."
"We have a young nucleus to work with," he said.
Shrine coach Wright Wilson said during Wednesday's answer that his team "has been a durable second" to Gabriel Richard in the last few years. Wilson was hoping to change that.
"But since his (Brock's) girls were coming off pleasing last week's regional, they have the momentum," Wilson said.
The Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard boys track combine also went home with a championship, with 161 points. Detroit Loyola (101) came in second, followed by Riverview Gabriel Richard (51).
